Vlog: Why I Won’t Be at Dallas Fan Days

Hey everyone! This weekend is the Dallas Fan Days! I’ve been attending all of the Dallas Comic Con events since 2012 but this weekend I won’t be going! I filmed a short vlog to explain why! Hopefully I can see my Dallas friends at another convention soon. Let me know in the comments what your plans are this weekend, too!

Xoxo,
Glitzy

The Shabby Shak – Faux Dragon Head

I was just browsing Etsy (a dangerous thing to do) when I decided to search for “shabby chic” ..  I love vintage home decor and Etsy has some really imaginative sellers. During my search I found a cool shop called The Shabby Shak. Some items they have for sale are coat racks and hangers, cast iron decor, and knobs and handles. Definitely some interesting baubles! But my favorite item is the Faux Taxidermy Dragon Head!!!

I mean look at that!! It’s SO awesome!! It’s “resin compound , refinished in a bright chrome” and “heavily detailed” and available in custom colors! I am disappointed it says great for a “boy’s room” .. Because I think that’d look great in my room!!! 😛

I’ve always loved mythological creatures, and one fun thing on EverQuest 2 is the ability to decorate your house. They have numerous wall mounts of different animal/monster heads. So this dragon head from Etsy is right up my alley! She also has a T-Rex, rhino, giraffe and many others!

Would you want a dragon staring back at you when you wake up? Would you tell your friends you slayed it in a frenzy battle?! I would!

DIY Lightsaber Hilt Tutorial

As promised, I have a very geeky Star Wars tutorial! I will be dressing up as Asajj Ventress for Sci Fi Expo and decided to make the hilt because the Force FX version was way expensive and mostly sold out everywhere I looked. This is a cheap, easy, and quick way to make Asajj Ventress’ lightsaber. It could also be used to make Count Dooku’s.
Pixie always has to be in the middle of what’s going on. She claimed the trash bag as hers and rolled around on it the whole time I was crafting, lol.
Items needed:
Duct Tape
Electrical Tape
Glue Gun
Scissors
Red Beads
 PVC pipe
(My friend Andrew suggested PVC pipe and using a heat gun to bend it slightly to make the curve. Since I wasn’t sure I could bend one with my blow dryer I decided to just put these pieces together using my glue gun)
Once I glued the pieces together I wrapped the whole thing in duct tape.
Then I used the electrical tape to add the black lines and red beads for the On/Off switch.
I looked into adding a blade to it but was unsure if it could hold up a wooden dowel. And I couldn’t find any long enough styrofoam. So I’m probably going to attach velcro to the back of the hilts and onto my costume so I can just wear them on my belt.
This project cost me about $25, all purchased from Lowe’s, and only took about 30-45 minutes to make! I realize it’s not perfect but sometimes handmade items are more fun 🙂
So what do you think? Don’t you wish lightsabers were real?!
If you had to be a Sith or a Jedi which would you pick?

2013 Convention Schedule

Ever since I drove 6 hours by myself to go to a Twilight Convention in 2009 I’ve been kind of addicted to them! There’s a thrill about the chance to meet your favorite TV hero or movie superstar even it’s just for a few minutes. The hours you spend in line to get those few minutes sometimes means just as much! You get to make some awesome friends and chat with other fans that are just as crazy as you are. I feel very much at home when I am at conventions. So I am already counting down the days to each one. Here’s a peek at some I hope to attend!

February 9-10

March 8-10

April 6 – May 27

May 17-19

A-Kon**
May 31- June 2

July 18-21

August 30 – Sept 2
DragonCon
August 30 – Sept 2
August 17-18

September 20-22

October 4-6

Texas Renaissance Festival
October 6 – November 25

** Indicates I will definitely be there!

Have you ever been to any of these conventions before? Do you go in costume? I do! Did I miss any that I need to check out? One reader suggested the ATX Televison Fest in Austin. And on a musical note, I’d really like to go to SXSW someday.

A trip to the mall!

This is more of a “glitzy” post but fear not fellow geeks! I have a very “geeky” post coming up soon that involves Star Wars and prop making!

So on to the glitz! I was able to go to the mall the other day with my Momma! We had plans to spend our $40 giftcard to Godiva. I saw this super cute bear in their magazine and just had to get him! While we were there we actually found a few other goodies. It was a fun trip!

We don’t usually have this many sacks so we were kinda excited 😛

My free piece of the month from Godiva was “Cookie Dough”
I probably won’t get it again .. It didn’t really taste like cookie dough. My fav is still red velvet or the strawberry truffle.

This is Pierre! Isn’t he cute?! His tag says his name is Valentino, but as Doctor Who knows, not everyone likes their given name. Remember Stormageddon?
These were just too pretty to pass up! And we had a little extra money from our giftcard.

I found these two awesome sweaters at Macy’s for only $9.99 each! I love long sweaters since I am taller and they’re hard to find sometimes. The bottom one is a really cool bright yellow/green color. The photo didn’t capture it’s greatness!
This beautiful eyeshadow is called Amethyst by MAC. It’s got a lovely shimmer to it!

Aw what a poor fella! It’s like a Greek statue gone wrong!

That day I also went by Toys R Us and found this cute little salon vanity! If I was a kid I would LOVE this!

And although this wasn’t included in our trip to the mall, I just had to share the cute “fairy bread” my dad made me for breakfast one morning. It’s wheat bread, butter and sprinkles! So easy! Not very healthy but fairies don’t care 🙂

The Hobbit

When The Hobbit was released, I was kinda bummed I couldn’t make it to the midnight premiere.. I usually like to dress up for those! So it’s been on my to-do list to go see the movie .. Last night I finally got to!! The theater was still pretty packed, and it’s funny to see mostly males rather than females (since I usually go to chick flicks) in the seats. I haven’t read the book yet – that’s on another to-do list – but I still really enjoyed the movie. I’ve been told they changed it up some compared to the book. I’d like to see it one more time in theaters and this will definitely be one I want to own! It had just enough humor, magic, action and great great music. My favorite part is the beautiful costumes.

Lady Galadriel’s hair!!! Omg!! 😛 I am definitely going to cosplay her or Arwen soon.
She’s so magical. I wish I was an elf!!
The song the dwarves sing at Bilbo’s house gave me goosebumps, too.
Thorin was a truly emotional character.. I really enjoyed his performance throughout the whole movie.
This is “Song of The Lonely Mountain” performed by Neil Finn.
He’s an outstanding singer from New Zealand.
When this song played during the credits I couldn’t leave until it was finished.
There was no stinger after the credits, but I recommend staying for the music 🙂
And for a cool look at The Hobbit sets by Lego check out MTV Geek!
So today I’m going to listen to The Hobbit soundtrack on repeat, wear my elf crown around the house, and slay some orcs on EverQuest II ! 😀
Have you seen The Hobbit yet? If so, what did you think?? And don’t forget to read my review of The Hobbit menu from Denny’s!

Wizard Wand Tutorial

Thanks to DeviantArt User *Majann for posting this SUPER COOL tutorial to make wands like from Harry Potter!! I totally plan on cosplaying Luna Lovegood one of these days.. and I ALMOST bought her wand when I visited Wizarding World in Florida.
I made a wand once but it didn’t turn out nearly as cool as these! For mine (pictured above from 2010), I just bought a wooden dowel and an X-acto knife, carved it until it was kinda pointy at the end, then painted it brown and gold. But I am DEFINITELY going to try this tutorial for a more authentic looking wand.

G33K3: The Con

G33K3 (pronounced “geeky”) was a new convention in McKinney, Tx. It was quite a bit smaller than others, but that’s great because it was only $10 to get in! Although it was a 3 day convention, I only went on Saturday. I still had a really fun time!
I decided not to wear a costume, but that gave me the chance to wear some fun clothes for a change.
Batman shirt – ThinkGeek
Batman leggings – Hot Topic
Black skater skirt – Wet Seal
Pink checkered shoes – Vans
Legend of Zelda earrings – Ragin’ Gauges
When I walked in I was shocked by how many vendors were there!
The selection of items was incredible.

I was excited to see my friend Long Le with a table full of his handmade D20s!

Another booth had these amazing trinkets for sale.

My friend Geline hosted an armor making panel, too. It was SO informative! I learned a lot about Worbla and craft foam.

Several people were in cosplay, including my friend Enasni Volz. She also had handmade charms for sale at her table.

Fangirls: Dames of the Round Table is an all female video cast you can watch on Sundays on Deep Ellum Air. I enjoyed seeing Taylor and Natalie at their table!
This photo was taken by Cosplay With Me of Morgan as Rapunzel and Krystle Starr as the Pink Panther! I wanted to share how cute their costumes were!
:+:+:+:
I hope this convention happens again next year because it was very well run. If they would advertise a little bit more then I imagine more and more people will come out!
Do you prefer bigger or smaller conventions?

Tutorial: Jessie from Toy Story Cosplay

YEEEEE HAAAAW!!
I'm super excited to share with y'all a root tootin' fun cosplay! It's Jessie from Toy Story! I was inspired to make this costume after my friend Garrett mentioned he wanted to build a Buzz Lightyear cosplay. Jessie had been on my dream list, and I think she looks best when paired with other Toy Story characters. So Garrett and I chatted about it and we both got to working on our costumes! I was so happy with how they turned out. Garrett looked amazing as Buzz! Also, huge thank you to Neither Noir for taking this photo of us. If you'd like to view all of my photos from All-Con then check out my Facebook Album.
Now onto the tutorial!

New Hair! Hot Pink & Half Shaved

A few weeks ago I talked myself into cutting my hair into a pixie cut! I just have A LOT of hair and it’s ridiculously thick and wavy. I have had it short before but I wanted to go extra short this time. Another reason I want a pixie cut is because I love to color my hair frequently. With the length it takes WAY too long and too much hair dye.
So I grabbed my clippers (or buzzers) and a 4 guard (size of the attachment) and went to town! I wanted to keep the top kinda spiky so I piled it up into a pony tail to cut later and shaved the sides first.

Well after I did the sides I kinda looked at it and liked it! I thought.. Hey I might as well rock this for a day or two before I cut it all off.
I think the real reason I liked it is because it reminded me of Sokka from Avatar: The Last Airbender 😀

If I was going to leave the cut alone then I knew I still had a big job ahead to color it. This was after one bleaching and kinda looks like a My Little Pony tail!

Since it was still purple and kinda yellowy I decided to bleach it again so I could have a total change.

I mixed some RAW Fuchsia Fatale with a lot of conditioner and applied it to dry hair. Then I let it sit on my hair for an hour.

After an hour I rinsed it with COLD water and let it air dry since it’d been through a lot! This is what it looks like down .. it’s like you can’t even tell I shaved half of it off!

And here is what it looks like straight.

Most of the time I wear it up in a pony tail .. Like Sokka! 😀
It’s already grown out a bit now.. So one of these days soon I will be coloring it again. I know I will eventually cut it into a short pixie, but for now this is fun and different.
:+:+:+:
Have you ever shaved part of your hair before?

30 Day Disney Challenge – Days 7-13

Whoa! I got really behind on my Disney Challenge .. sorry about that! Here are my answers for Days 7-13 🙂 Please play along by telling me your answers in the comments!

Day 7 – Your favorite sidekick
I like Tinkerbell because she’s so resourceful! It’s like her mission is to help others. I would love to have her as my sidekick.
Day 8 – Your favorite villain
Captain Hook is one of the best villains because part of you really wants to like him! Pirates are just so cool and even though he’s supposed to be evil I think he’d be a fun friend to have. 😀
Day 9 – Your favorite original character
I’ve loved Stitch since I saw it when it was released and have snuggled with a Stitch doll every night ever since! He’s got the best personality and is such a unique little guy.

Day 10 – Your favorite song
My favorite song is easily “Under The Sea” from The Little Mermaid. I can sing every line and it puts me in such a great mood! It was also my favorite part of the new Little Mermaid ride at Disney World.
Day 11 – Your favorite love song
“I See the Light” from Tangled is so sweet and moving. I’ve been a fan of Mandy Moore for a long time, and she puts so much heart into her performance.
Day 12 – Your favorite villain song
I enjoy Ursula singing “Poor Unfortunate Souls” because of her upbeat attitude about it. It’s very evil of her!
Day 13 – Your least favorite song
My least favorite is “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King. It’s kinda awkward so I always skip it when it plays.

Heart of Texas Comic Con 2014

The Heart of Texas Comic Con was the first convention where I was invited to be a cosplay guest! I was super excited to travel out of Dallas to Waco, Tx for a weekend to spend with friends, fans and celebrities! This was the first year for this con, and I was honored to be asked to join other cosplayers as a guest and help judge the costume contest.
Since attending a convention with a booth is a little different than just going as a fan, I had to really prepare ahead of time. My friend Miranda over at A Bit of Geek asked me some questions about my experience as a first time exhibitor. Check out the interview here for all those details!
I chose to wear Legolas on Saturday since Manu Bennett was in attendance! He plays Azog the Defiler in The Hobbit.
My table was in the cosplay/fan club room. I brought cosplay prints and wizard wands to sell. I also gave out free stickers and buttons.
One of the coolest things was seeing my face in the program! I even had a guy ask me to autograph this page. Above me is Mariedoll. She is a very famous cosplayer and was super nice! She and Annaka Vader joined me in judging the costume contest.
This was my view from the stage during the contest. The crowd went from wall to wall!
I had a difficult time judging because all the contestants were really great. We narrowed it down and these were the top three winners.
Back at my booth the crowd on Saturday was very large! The dealer’s room was packed so I was glad to be in the open room so I could take pictures with fans easier.
Several of my friends came down from Dallas, too, including my friend Brandon! He surprised me with a custom made Asajj Ventress lightsaber hilt! I couldn’t believe it! I hope to make another Ventress cosplay soon so this is really great. Thanks again, Brandon!
On Saturday Manu Bennett had a Q&A so I stepped away from my table to watch some of it. He was so friendly and chatted with several members of the audience. (On Sunday I found the courage to go up to his table to shake his hand and say Hello, too!)
After the convention closed for the evening, my mom and I went to the mall. I saw this flyer at Hot Topic and had to snap a pic! Hot Topic is one of my favorite stores, and it was cool to see a flyer for a convention where I am a guest at!
On Sunday, the crowd was a little smaller. There were still a lot of people, but most were in the dealer’s room. My friend and fellow cosplay guest Krystle Starr found an empty table so we asked if we could share it in the busier room.
I wore Black Cat all day Sunday and let me tell you I will never wear this again! The mask, boots and corset I had on were so uncomfortable.
My favorite new friends I made were Dim n Wit the Fairy Brothers! They were so cheerful and were having a great time dancing with everyone.
It was a lot of fun being at a table for a change. I was able to chat with fans and tell them about my cosplay tutorials on my blog. I ran out of business cards which is a good sign! Overall my experience was amazing. The convention staff was super kind, and I enjoyed seeing a con from a different angle.
I also want to thank everyone that bought a print, wand or jewelry piece from me! Getting to meet you guys was my favorite part, and I am so grateful for all the support!
:+:+:+:+:
To view all my photos from the convention check out my Facebook album.
The Heart of Texas Comic Con has another event this fall. So be sure to follow them for updates because their first one was a huge success!

  1. Ok, Hook in OUAT is very…well, hot! And I hate "Can you feel the love tonight" too!
    Here's mine:
7: Mushu since he's so hilarious
8: Scar/Meleficent because they are the coolest characters. They make me want to be a bad gal!
9: Venellope (though Stitch is a CLOSE second as my BFF says he reminds her of me).
10: "I'll Make a Man Out of You" classic!
11: I See the Light (ditto!)
12: Be Prepared (from Lion King) & "Worlds' Greatest Criminal Mind" (Great Mouse Detective).

Loving this series of Disney shares.

  2. I have to say my least favourite song is 90% of the Mary Poppins soundtrack. hehehe

August 2012 Playlist

August’s playlist consisted of a lot of July’s .. but I added a few more:
Kreayshawn – Go Hard
I’m not big on curse words.. they don’t bother me much, but I sound silly when I say them. However, I find myself singing along to this song. And the video is so cute and colorful! 😛

Taylor Swift – We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
I am a huuuge Taylor Swift fan and while I enjoy her country songs I find her more of a pop artist. This new single is especially pop so I am interested how her new album will sound.
The Gaslight Anthem – Blue Dahlia
I’m very happy that The Gaslight Anthem has gained quite a bit of popularity with their newest album. They are a talented band with some good old rock n roll sounds. Unfortunately there is no real video for this song yet, but I’m a sucker for the slower ballads.

Dallas Comic Con 2013

I had been counting down the days to the Dallas Comic Con since their last convention (Sci Fi Expo) in February! This marked my year anniversary of going to comic conventions and doing cosplay. It’s hard to believe that the weekend has come and gone now. I had an AMAZING time and met so many nice people! It was great running into friends from past conventions, too, and seeing their new costumes. I went with my mom and together we took over 300 photos. This will be a major post so slow computers beware! Lots of pictures ahead! If you don’t see your picture in this post then check out my Facebook album with ALL my pics from the weekend.
My cosplay’s for the weekend included Princess Zelda on Friday, Fiona from Shrek on Saturday and Evil Mary Marvel on Sunday. This is a glimpse at the night before the convention getting all my props together!

We decided to get there early all three days. I am glad we did because the lines were long!
I am thankful we purchased VIP wristbands so we could get in early. They are expensive but definitely worth it so you don’t melt in the heat and humidity outside.

This is my Princess Zelda from Skyward Sword cosplay. I decided not to wear the sailcloth because it unsnaps too often.

This girl made a beautiful Zelda from Twilight Princess! All we need now is a Link!

Inside the vendor’s room.
The line for the escalator was ridiculous. I think this was taken on Friday.. It was 100 times worse on Saturday. It’s probably time for DCC to upgrade to a larger convention hall.
Who ya gonna call?? Ghostbusters!

Jurassic Park!
And the DeLorean from Back to The Future!
I saw this amazing comic book dress and just had to get pic! She said she hand made it herself! And check out that awesome Captain Mal costume, too! It’s too bad Nathan Fillion had to cancel his appearance.
The only full Q&A I got to see was Jason David Frank. He is the Green Ranger from Power Rangers. It was his 10th anniversary with his wife who joined him at the convention. Aww! He was really funny and had some great stories. He even did a few kicks for the crowd.

Another memorable moment was seeing William Shatner at his Q&A panel. We stood at the back because the room was pretty full and just wanted to get a glimpse of him.

Nearly every costume I’ve worn has a pic next to Sheldon. He’s so cute :p

For Saturday I woke up at 6 am to begin working on Fiona. The body paint took me about 2 hours to complete. I was VERY impressed with the quality of this makeup. I used Paradise by Mehron. It lasted ALL DAY!
Pixie was sleeping most of the time, but I had to get one picture of her and pretend she was Puss In Boots! “Fear me… If you dare!”
Great picture outside the front of the convention! It was really windy all weekend.

Don’t worry Doctor Who.. I got this!

Awesome Stargate photo setup.
This guy was dressed as Gideon from Scott Pilgrim vs The World and he had a Scott Pilgrim TATTOO ON HIS HAND!! SOOO COOL!!

Allen Christian shared an awesome drawing of me as my Asajj Ventress a few months ago, and when I saw him at the convention this weekend he gave me the original sketch!! I am so amazed and thankful!

A few times throughout the weekend I was interviewed by different media outlets. I get kinda giddy and sound silly, but I think it’s so cool to see the videos! Here are a couple I’ve found:

Some people from Verizon told me about a costume contest they were holding on Twitter. All you had to do was tweet a pic of your costume with the hashtag SHAREVZ and they would pick a winner! Well I was one they selected! I won a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2!! This was great because I didn’t place at all in official Comic Con contest. I was a little disappointed that they moved it to a smaller room this time, too. I wish I could have watched my friends on stage and cheer them on, but I was stuck in a lonely hallway the whole time. Hopefully next time it will be back in the large room.

For Sunday, I was Evil Mary Marvel. This was my first time getting to do a comic character! I am so glad the green makeup washed off easily. lol
Me with Brandon as a Sith Lord. I love the girl behind us that photobombed the pic!
I was really excited to purchase some art from local artists this time. After looking through the (huge) list of attending artists I knew I wanted to grab a couple pieces from some. This was Matthew Warlick’s table in the Artist Room. He had a lot of great prints and is a fantastic artist!
We had to get some fun pics in my Mary Marvel outfit!
Photo Credit: Marc Levenson via Facebook
I also purchased a piece by Jessica Grundy. I am so bummed I didn’t get a photo with her. But I did purchase one of her limited edition prints. 🙂

I was able to get John Romita Jr.’s autograph on two different Kick Ass 2 posters.
And finally, after drooling over him from a distance, I decided to get Brandon Routh’s autograph. He played Todd (evil ex #3) in Scott Pilgrim vs World. I told him my very first cosplay was Ramona Flowers!
So these are all the awesome goodies I picked up from the weekend. I got a few other posters from the Freebie Room, but there were too many to get pics of.
Here are some links to other photo albums I have found that have amazing pictures from the weekend:
If you would like me to add your photo album link to the list let me know in the comments!

Did you attend Dallas Comic Con?
What was your favorite costume?
Did you get any celebrity or artist’s autograph?

  6. Looks like it was a pretty sweet weekend. You came away with some cool pics and goodies. The Fiona costume was better than I imagined, I'll probably use that makeup for a future costume. Hopefully, I'll be at A-kon and see you there.

OMGLITZY: February Thoughts

February Thoughts

I was hoping to make a February Vlog for YouTube kind of like I did for January but seeing how it’s already March 7 I figured let’s just type it out this time! I really don’t want to lose momentum from the boost of creative energy I had at the beginning of this year. February was a true test for this because life sure did like to tell me “NO!” I applied for so many things in February and every single thing came back negative. I’ve been reaching out more to friends and that’s really helped me keep my chin up. I received so much positive feedback and advice after my “Staying Positive” blog post. I read all the comments and emails and private messages and to be honest that’s truly what has kept me from throwing in the towel again. Last year I gave up so easily at the first sign of defeat.

In February, I applied for a Twitch subscribe button. They got back to me with the standard “We receive a lot of applications and have to choose wisely. Please apply again in 2-4 weeks if you want.” So I’ve been researching more what makes a Twitch channel great. I’ve come to realize that it’s truly about building a community. I’m going to focus more on that and hope to make any viewers that stop by my channel feel excited and welcome to be there. So I’ve been thinking of ways to do that and hope we can all grow more soon and maybe reapply for the button in a few more weeks.
I also applied for a partnership with Guild Wars 2. I sent it in once at the beginning of February and another at the end. No reply. I’m guessing they might not be accepting new partners right now. They recently announced that their Game Director (Colin Johanson) was leaving. I imagine there is a lot going on there. So for now I am not going to worry about that partnership and may reapply another time if it seems like they are interested in accepting new creators.
Probably the biggest bummer was seeing the response to my job application. I submitted it online for a pretty cool company in my area and felt super confident I would be a perfect fit for them. They never called me and a few weeks later I finally checked my submission on their site and saw the “received” was changed to “reviewed; not selected”. I admit I was pretty upset they didn’t even want a phone interview. It felt as if I wasn’t given a fair chance at proving myself. However, I have learned from this how important your application and resume must be. Not only for this job but for all the things I’ve been applying for lately. I can’t just assume what I put down is going to land me everything I want. I have to keep improving and growing. That means I can’t lose momentum here. If I continue to sit back and twiddle my thumbs nothing is going to change. So it’s up to me to push myself to become better!

February wasn’t all drab. Tsum Tsum Tuesday was fun because they released the Star Wars collection. Pixie had a positive check up at the vet. I attended the Dallas Boat Show and saw some cool and sparkly boats. I started playing RuneScape which is actually really fun! I was able to have lunch with some family I hadn’t seen in awhile. Valentine’s Day was a blast as I hosted some giveaways on stream and received the cutest dragon plushies from my parents.

I uploaded my first wig review video that I worked pretty hard on. My raid group on GW2 has progressed so much that we actually kill all 3 bosses in less than a hour. A super kind gift arrived from Jerome J. who got me a Hogwarts robe from my Amazon wishlist. And finally thanks to the generous donations from my Twitch stream I upgraded from my 9 year old desk chair to a fancy DXRacer Racing Series chair! I plan to make a whole review post about it so be on the lookout for that soon.

After typing and rereading that last paragraph, I realize that I am still guilty of dwelling on the negative. I mean SO many great and happy things happened in February. Sure some bad was mixed in there, but one of the great things about blogging is discovering yourself in the process. Had I not typed that out and reflected I may have never seen how truly good life can be. Thank you all for sharing this journey with me and I hope you have a great week!
xoxo,
Glitzy

  1. Your time will come I'm sure of it, never seen a better community hub for gw2 on Twitch even tho I'm from EU so most of the time I lurk (when I catch the live latenight my time). I'm not into the game as much as I was but I still keep watching interesting people on Twitch and from what I've seen you really deserve the button and all the partnerships in the world. Stay strong and believe in what you do, life will come around and reward you. This was an interesting read so thank you for sharing, and sorry for grammar I'm on my phone :)) Good luck and keep up the good work. Also !chairhype (mynameisfurion)

  2. Hopefully March will be better for you. It's natural for some months to kinda suck, and it's okay to be in a funk if that's how you're feeling. I have a good feeling about things in the future for you though. 🙂

Hair by Anna Lee

As some of you may know – I do hair! I was rooming with some friends for awhile but a month or so ago I got my own salon room! It’s a huge accomplishment, and I am so proud to have my own business. Decorating the room was a lot of fun, and I have another post about how I made the pink shelves with the brackets on the wall. I am so thankful my clients have followed me to my new salon. So if you need your hair done and you live around the Dallas area come see me!
You can “Like” me on Facebook, too!
